for product people was founded in 2017 with the simple goal “to help entrepreneurial product teams to be successful”. That mission hasn’t changed to this day. Product people, whether they work in a startup, a small business, scale-up or a large multi-national are our people. We help them through learning, workshops and coaching. Founder and Director
Phil Hornby
He’s been a corporate “warrior” and a technologist for more than 20 years. He has industry experience including product management, project management, operations development, sales, and marketing set across a range of industries including Enterprise Software, IoT and Automotive. He is a Chartered Engineer, holds an MBA and has built and led global product teams that were universally regarded as high-performing teams.
Phil is a startup ecosystem supporter, mentor and coach for teams and founders. He works through many models, including a number of accelerator programs. He has broad experience in technology businesses ranging from small to global multinationals.
He has helped thousands of individuals across hundreds of companies to get better at delivering technology products. Delivering high-impact training has been a foundational capability throughout his career, supporting both internal and external teams. Phil has been called an inspirational and charismatic speaker and leader over the years by colleagues, customers and partners.
